A Letter from the Joshua Rapp Family to MyChurch:

First and foremost, I’d like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for how incredibly much MyChurch blessed my family. The brief 8 months that Jennifer, Chase, Dylan and I spent as a part of MyChurch impacted our lives forever. It was a tremendous blessing that I cannot begin to describe. The journey that led us to MyChurch was hard on our family but we knew God was with us every Sunday morning as we went from church to church around the Columbus area. We didn’t know exactly what we were looking for but we prayed that God would lead us to a place where we could best serve Him and where we would feel peace. Then we arrived in our seats at MyChurch one morning and we knew were home.  There was no way to know just how amazing the next several months would be for us. We made lifelong friends in small group and were  blessed to work with amazing youth on Sunday evenings. Then last May I found out that I would no longer be serving on active duty and that we would be moving back to my home state of Oregon. We were devastated, shocked and scared. Thanks to the Lord and a few of our MyChurch friends we were able to get through it and things have turned out far better than we anticipated. Since arriving here in Medford, Oregon in July, we’ve been seeking a new church home and after many months, we’re pretty confident that we’ve found where God wants us to serve.  When we found MyChurch there was no question, not a shred of doubt for either of us and I think that’s why we’ve been a little hesitant to commit our hearts to a new church but we are getting there.  The Pastor caught me after service yesterday and we began chatting about our story. When I told him about our amazing MyChurch family back in Georgia he said…”Hey, I know about MyChurch. Didn’t they start in a tent several years back?” We talked for another 10 minutes or so about MyChurch and as I walked away, I felt a sense of peace and joy that I hadn’t felt on a Sunday morning since leaving Georgia. If I needed a sign, I got one! So in closing, THANK YOU for the amazing memories and MyChurch will be in our hearts forever. I pray one day we will have the opportunity to visit again.

God Bless,
